To download logos:

Click on the link for the file type you want. Either of the following will happen:

  • The logo will open in the window. Put your pointer over it, right click your mouse and choose "Save Picture As..." Be sure to save the file in a place on your computer where you can find it.
  • A dialog box will pop up that will prompt you to save the file. Choose a location on your computer where you can find the file.

What file type do I use?

Here are some general uses of the different types of files that are provided here:

  • GIF: Most appropriate file type for use on the Web (because of its small size). If you want to use the ACT logo on your own Web site, it is recommended you click on the "GIF" link and save that file, then resize that logo to the exact dimensions you need the logo to be.
  • TIF: Used for some print pieces (magazines, brochures, newsletters, etc.); a higher-resolution version than a GIF file (above).
  • EPS: Used for some print pieces, especially when the logo needs to be very large (such as on a huge poster or banner). Most professional graphic designers will want to work with an EPS version of the logo. This file type will allow you to resize the logo (especially to a very large size) without losing any of the resolution - using this type preserves the "clarity" of a graphic.
